Working here in the UK you tend to get used to the ever-changing weather. In doing so – I’m pretty strong in Winter where the weather is cold, the skies are dull and the trees are bare.
Next year in 2017 I’ve managed to book myself up all the way from March through to September but I’ve not got many in the Winter.. I feel both very lucky and blessed at the thought of all of the wonderful people I will meet and photographs I will shoot in those months. But what about the colder months where things start to get festive? I wonder whether people are shying away from photography in the colder months and I hope that isn’t the case. The sun is lower, warmer and the available light takes the ambience in your wedding images to another level. Romance doesn’t need to be bright lights and whites by any means. Think dark romance, like the photograph above. There’s a lot of beauty to be found in the darker skies.
If you’re thinking of getting married in the winter of 2017 just get in touch – even if it’s for a chat – I’d love to hear what you’ve got planned for your day.
The dates below are what I have available:
October: 7th, 28th
November: 4th, 18th and 25th
December: 2nd, 9th
Please do get in touch if you’re thinking of booking in a winter wedding! I would love to hear from you.
